Payment terms and appointment cancellation / appointment change policy

  • All initial appointments must be paid for in advance to confirm your booking, and payment is required no less than 48 hours before your first appointment. If no payment is made by this time, your appointment will automatically be cancelled, and the appointment slot will be made available again.

  • If an initial appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the initial consultation fee is non-refundable.

  • All medicines must be paid for in full before posting.

  • If a review appointment time needs amending, please try to allow 24 hours’ notice where possible.

  • If a review appointment is not attended without prior notice, the full cost of the missed appointment will need to be paid in full prior to rebooking a new appointment.

  • These payment terms and cancellation policy are in place to ensure that those awaiting an appointment can be seen sooner if an appointment becomes available, as well as respecting my professional time.

2) TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED BY DEBBIE MEACLE, HEALING NATURES WAY

This is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name, address, email address, phone number and payment details.  Such information is only collected from you when you voluntarily submit it to us.  We use it to communicate with you in relation to your status as a client or service user of Healing Natures Way, to advise you regarding news relating to the care and treatment you receive from Healing Natures Way, events and activities that you may wish to take part in, and other client related information.

We may also use this data to contact you through our newsletter.  You will have the opportunity on these occasions to opt out from this communication if you wish, using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each newsletter.

b) Digital Information

Digital information data collected when you visit our website, including IP-addresses, browser data, traffic data, social media behaviour, and user patterns. 

c) Non-Personal Data

Like most websites we may gather statistical and other analytical information on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our website.  This non-personal data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you such as demographic information.

3) PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE HOLD YOUR DATA

a) Non-Personal Data:

We may use the non-personal, anonymised data gathered from our website to get a better understanding of how the website is used and which pages are of most interest to visitors.

b) Personal Data:

When contacting us, we may store your full name, email and phone number for the purpose of communicating with you. If you register as a client/patient of Debbie Meacle, Healing Natures Way, the health information that you provide during the course of your one to one consultations is used for the purposes of forming the base of the herbal prescriptions and treatment that is provided for you.

c) Digital Information Data:

We use the Digital Information data gathered from visitors to our social media platforms in an aggregate form to help us better design and organise our social media activity.

 

4) STORAGE OF INFORMATION

The information provided by you to us can be either manually provided or electronically.  In the case of manually provided information, this will be kept in a locked, secure location.

Any electronic information provided by you is held on secure services.  The nature of the internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information transmit to us via the internet.  No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  Any transmission of data is therefore at your own risk.

 

5) SECURITY

We take appropriate measures to ensure that any personal data is kept secure, including security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way.

 

6) RETENTION

Personal identifiable data collected from this website during contact is retained for a maximum of 3 years.

If you register as a client/patient of Debbie Meacle, Healing Natures Way, your health records and prescription records will be kept for 7 years, from date of last contact. After which point, your records will be securely disposed of. Clients/ patients under the age of 18; health records in such cases are kept until the patient’s 26th birthday, and then securely disposed of. Records of vulnerable adults are kept for the time currently recommended by NIMH.

  • object to personal data processing;
